  • 6. Brijesh Sahai

He has recited in Hindi. His first poem highlighted relationship between house & heart. It talked the thought process of any poet and his relationship with the Pen.I like to quote following lines form his third poem presented with the title:’Finding life’.

  • 7.Pavithra Sahadevan

Her poem is about a girl, observed by her father. His father, admiring the growth of his baby girl. How, he think about her journey into the new world.

  • 8.Varsha Venktesh

Her poem talked about 5 emotions: love, desire, madness, joy and desperation. If our actions do not speak, then the desperation begins. Love desire madness, desire and all given to it. Desperation is human, they will find whatever they want if they give it.
A beautiful characterization of different emotions.

  • 9th Priyanka Das

She presented a poem with title,’Title not known’. A story which tell itself.

  • 10th Sarith Sethi

He recited both in both languages.(Hindi and English)
His poems were connected to death. In his poem, he talked ordering his tombstone. It was funny that one can choose his life, but no choice over death? This poem also talked about the stories of life, a person gave away.

Death has intrigued me talked about artistically carved tombstone.
Cemetery have more life then monument at the square. Monument is standing alone in the square. Cemeteries have some level of life.

His first poem talked about the clothes line of the neighbor. It was an interesting perspective. His another poem was about Manhood. It was brilliant presentation on the lines of,’When Man fed with Men’.

  • 13. Arjun Iyenger

He recited both in Hindi and in English.

  • 14. Deepthi Shetty

Her first poem had title:Spelling of Victim. In this poem, victim is talking about herself. How, she is fighting with herself everyday. How she found her courage to face the victimization and change herself from ‘victim’ to ‘survivor’.

Her second poem had title: Hope awaits. It is about a daughter, who is waiting for her father since childhood. She began to write letter to his father. She patiently waited for the reply on this letters. Her initial question in childhood,’Please! Come back home’ changes to ,’Are you still there?’ as she crossed her teenage years. This poem gave us a very strong message. Hope is the only way to get us moving in life but it is also a beautiful dangerous thing.

  • 15. Alister Bennis

A wonderful presentation by him along with his poem. It was about the changing mindset of a person. Alister compared it with a ‘snowman’.

  • 16. Shashwat Yadav

He recited in Hindi. He recited three poems, two on love and one on motherhood.

  • 17. Harshad Gupta

  • 18. Faiz Akram

He also recited in Hindi.

(Based on my personal experience. Need not to be true to the facts)
